Fathers day

The Saturday before Fathers day we met up with Evans family for a picnic and a little fishing time at the rainbow trout farms here in Sandy. The boys were so excited to get their fish (which happened almost the second they put the line in the water). Jack wanted to hold the fish but just couldn't commit himself to it. Davis wanted to take his home as a pet, and was a little disappointed as we watched them gut and clean the fish. The kids had lots of fun with their cousins who were visiting from Meridian Idaho.
Happy Fathers day to Evan who I am pretty sure is the best dad in the world! The boys had so much fun with their cousins we decided to get together with them the next day for a fathers day celebration and picnic. Our boys love Evan, he is a fun dad and always doing tricks with the boys. When he gets home from work one of the first thing Jack asks for is a trick. Evan grabs his hands and swings him so his feet skim the ceiling. Davis and Evan have their own special version of kick ball where Davis swings and Evan holds a ball out for him to kick each time he swings forward. All of the boys share a great love of candy and games.

Your post makes me smile. Davis is like Mindy because she always wanted to take "it" home for a pet too. Fishing is the best ever for little boys. What a fun Father's Day. That's a cute picture of those three boys Mindy.
Jack is growing up so fast and becoming his own little self. You have a great life!!
