running buddy

With the jogging stroller set up and Davis' jj cole sack in place these two running buddies were getting ready to take off for the regular three mile route a few Saturdays ago (yes we just barely got snow). Ever since Davis turned the legal riding age of six months, Evan has taken him out almost every Saturday for a nice 3-5 mile running route (one time it was a 20 mile route). In Spokane it was a little longer than Sandy (Sandy has a lot of hills). They pass the cows, horses and goats in the early morning grey. Sometimes they bring along apples for a few lucky horses. Evan knows exactly how cold is too cold for Davis and how to dress him for the specific elements of the day. Evan will have Davis dressed and ready to head out for their run before I get out of bed sometimes (which is usually 6-7 A.M.) They make a good pair these two and maybe some day Davis will ride his bike along.
