Our fourth of July was laid back this year since it was on Sunday. We did walk to our church building
where a big group of families meet every year to watch fire works. It was really fun talking with friends and letting Davis play with some good buddies. Jack didn't mind the fireworks but wasn't too keen on being up past his bed time. We walked back home and had fun people watching as traffic backed up to a standstill. It was pretty nice but I think we are looking forward to a more festive 4th next year.

Having the 4th on a Sunday was kind of a bummer. Sometimes we just watch the firework shows on tv and enjoy the peace of home too.
