Vernonia half

Snow was covering the roads and farms as we drove to Veronia a few weeks ago. This is the only and first snow we saw we have seen this year. Evan ran a half marathon that morning. After we gave him hugs and wish him good luck I took the boys over to an Easter egg hunt in the snow. Davis love the Easter bunny and getting the eggs. He was shy and wanted me to go with him so I helped him get a few. Afterwards we visited the bunny (a person dressed in a rabbit suit) and he gave him hugs. It was fun to see some of the locals and the park there was beautiful. I think most of Oregon is beautiful but this was small town charm. Little trinkets, gum and tattoos filled his basket after cracking all the eggs open. We headed to pick up Evan where he finished 4th in his age group and near the top overall. Great job evan.
