Some day I will have a studio in my house but for now on rare occasions I set up my studio in my living room and shoot away. I had a good reason, a new baby and boy did we take a lot of photos. This was a long process between setting everything up with a three year old "helping" and wanting to swing on my backdrop bars like they were monkey bars, breastfeeding, pumping, eating lunch, peeing on the backdrop (Jack not Davis), and of course the take down. This all took about six hours but was well worth it.
