Little things mean so much

Evan took Davis on his hour "fun" run this morning. I call it fun because it is not part of his long training runs on the weekends which take about three hours. They always come home and tell me the animals they see, today it was the alpacas Zoro, Cinnamon, and Pete (they had name tags for some reason), a dog, a cow and the garbage man who they chased at Davis' request.

Back at home I made breakfast for when they came home, oatmeal, peanut butter toast and a berry smoothie & of course everyones vitamins. We ate and then Davis went to his cubby hole (the space under our stairs where we keep most of his toys and books) and brought out four books for dad to read. Evan was nice and sat and read them to him even though he was pressed for time to get to work. I think Davis has a great dad, and I am thankful Davis has a nice guy to celebrate Fathers day with on Sunday. Happy Fathers day to all the dads, especially mine. Love ya!

Every minute spent reading will pay off in the long run. Even if you're late for work.

Happy Father's Day to Evan. You are so patient and kind with Davis and we appreciate how you set a good father's example for him.
Thank you and have a wonderful day.

What a yummy breakfast good job mommy! We had a cubby under our stairs in our last house too that was full of toys, it works great! What a nice tribute to Evan on Fathers Day.
