Here are the curtains I have been working on. You can't tell from the picture but there are red vertical stripes on the blue material. I was thinking of puting a small horizonal stripe of material along the bottom of the blue curtain to balance them out. What are your thoughts?

I love the curtains Mindy! I think they would be cute with or without the red stripe. You can't go wrong either way. How does the darkening effect work? I have a valance in Logan's room right now with blinds, but I need it darker so I just have a blanket hanging there and I've been thinking of making some darkening curtains. Have they worked well?
